The Explorer’s Dream Project

The Explorer’s Dream is Periscope’s newest immersive project, opening in October 2019 in Stroud. Spanning three venues, the project includes a town-centre creative space, and exhibition and collaboration with youth artist group MOULD, the commissioning of a short film by filmmaker Nielsan Abbott and a one-day creative symposium.

Funded by The Arts Council England, Stroud Town Council and Stroud Arts Festival, and with support from local businesses and partners, this event explores how we can see our familiar surrounding differently and by extension gently questions accepted social and cultural narratives surrounding place, community and creativity.
